The third and final transnational meeting of the European project ShapeMS took place in Torre del Mar, Spain, on March 27. This milestone event brought together our partner organisations from Cyprus, Turkey, Austria, Italy and Spain to exchange ideas, assess the project’s progress, and reinforce our collective mission: to support individuals with multiple sclerosis (MS) in their journey toward employment.
Strengthening employment pathways for people with MS
ShapeMS is dedicated to breaking down barriers that individuals with MS face when entering or remaining in the workforce. Through our innovative online learning platform, we provide essential resources tailored to people with MS, offering information on employment rights, financial support, entrepreneurship opportunities, and workplace adaptations.
Equally important, ShapeMS equips employers with tools and guidance to foster more inclusive and accessible work environments. By raising awareness and promoting necessary workplace accommodations, we aim to build a job market that welcomes and supports individuals with MS.
The power of European collaboration
The success of ShapeMS would not be possible without the strong collaboration between our European partners. By sharing knowledge, best practices, and diverse perspectives, we have developed a robust support system for individuals with MS and their potential employers. This cooperation underscores the importance of cross-border initiatives in creating meaningful social impact.
